CONJUGÁT, -Ă, conjugaţi, -te, adj. Unit, legat împreună. ♢ (biol.) Nervi conjugaţi = nervi care au aceeaşi funcţie. (fiz.) Focare conjugate = focare astfel aşezate încât razele de lumină răsfrânte dintr-unul se unesc în celălalt şi invers. Puncte conjugate = oricare dintre punctele unui obiect şi punctul corespunzător de pe imaginea obiectului obţinută cu ajutorul unui sistem optic. (mat.) Numere conjugate = două numere complexe care au părţile reale egale, iar părţile imaginare egale şi de semne contrare. Regulă conjugată = reunirea a două sau mai multor reguli de trei simple. – Din fr. conjugué.
