CONGRUÉNT, -Ă, congruenţi, -te, adj. 1. Care concordă, care coincide; corespunzător, coincident, echivalent. 2. (Despre numere întregi) Care dau acelaşi rest la împărţirea cu un număr întreg. 3. (Despre figuri geometrice) Care sunt egale sau care pot fi făcute să coincidă una cu alta printr-o deplasare. [pr.: -gru-ent] – Din fr. congruent, lat. congruens, -ntis.
