BURDÓN s. n. 1. Procedeu primitiv de acompaniament constând din persistenţa unui sunet, susţinut de voce sau de un instrument. 2. Tub grav, fără găuri, care emite un singur sunet continuu, la cimpoi. 3. Coardă gravă, de acompaniament, la lăută, liră etc. 4. Registru de orgă cu timbru închis. (< fr. bourdon, it. bourdone)
