UNIVERSALÍSM s.n. 1. Caracterul, însuşirea a ceea ce este universal; multilateralitate în cunoştinţe; universalitate. 2. (fil.) Denumire dată teoriilor care afirmă existenţa unei realităţi ca un tot unic, universal. 3. Direcţie idealistă care promovează ideea unei morale (morală) unice, general-umane, în cadrul societăţii.
