birlíc (-ci), s.m.1. As, carte de joc. – 2. Spetează care trece prin mijlocul zmeului de copii. – 3. (arg.) Nota unu, la şcoală. – 4. (arg.) Sublocotenent. tc. birlik "unitate", de la bir "unu" (Roesler 589; Şeineanu, II, 52). La sensul 2 a putut avea loc o confuzie cu tc. bilik "antebraţ" (DAR).
