ROTARY s.n. 1. Sistem de foraj petrolier mecanic, cu circulaţie continuă şi cu rotirea garniturii de foraj. 2. Sistem de telefonie automată, în care unele organe sunt acţionate de o mişcare de rotaţie continuă. [< engl., fr. rotary].
