POP-ART s.n. Curent în arta plastică, mai ales în cea americană, care, considerând că mediul actual al omului îl formează marile aglomeraţii urbane nenaturale (copleşite de maşinism, asaltate de publicitate, invadate de obiectele de larg consum, de deşeurile industriale), postulează întoarcerea spre o nouă orientare realistă, întemeiată pe un simţ modern al naturii.
