Persoană care făcea parte din populaţia de bază a Podoliei sau era originară din Podolia; (la pl.) populaţia de bază a acestei regiuni. 2. adj. Care aparţine Podoliei, originar din Podolia. [pr.: -li-an.var.: podolién, -ă adj.] – Podolia (n. pr.) + suf. -ean.
