PITUITÁR, -Ă, pituitari, -e, adj., s.f. 1. adj. Care secretează pituită; pituitiv. 2. s.f. Mucoasă a cavităţii nazale, constituită dintr-un epiteliu cilindric cu cili vibratili, care cuprinde elementele senzoriale ale mirosului. [pr.: -tu-i-] – Din fr. pituitaire.
