ORGANICÍSM s.n. 1. Curent sociologic, al cărui iniţiator a fost Spencer, după care societatea omenească este un organism analog cu cel uman. 2. Teorie idealistă în biologie care afirmă că forma organismelor este în acelaşi timp materială şi spirituală, toate celulele având judecată. v. vitalism. 3. Teorie care susţine că orice maladie provine dintr-o leziune organică. [< fr. organicisme].
