NOVAŢIANÍSM s. n. doctrină a lui Novatian (sec. V-VIII), care punea la îndoială bunătatea lui Dumnezeu şi dovedea un rigorism excesiv, considerând că păcatul abjurării credinţei nu poate fi iertat. (< fr. novatianisme)
