náre (nắri), s.f.1. Deschizătură a nasului. – 2. (Trans. de v.) Nas. – var. nară. Mr. nare, nari. lat. nāris (Puşcariu 1153; Candrea-Dens., 1203; REW 5826); cf. v. it., sard. nare, rar nara, prov. nar, cat. nars. Semantismul din Trans. coincide cu sp. – Der. nărtos, adj. (năsos, cu nasul mare), prin confuzia suf. (-tos pentru -os, ca în spătos, sănătos, fruntos etc., după Candrea-Dens., 1204; de la un lat. *nāritōsus, după Pascu, suf., 76 şi Pascu, Beiträge, 10, cu suf. -tos); nărticios, adj. (năsos); nărtiţă, s.f. (fosă nazală).
