MESOPOTAMIÁN, -Ă adj. care aparţine Mesopotamiei. o artă mesopotamiană = artă dezvoltată în Mesopotamia, caracterizată, în arhitectură, prin zigurate, prin pereţi decoraţi cu ceramică smălţuită policrom, cu picturi murale şi cu basoreliefuri, iar în sculptură prin admirabile statui, portrete, tauri înaripaţi şi reliefuri cu scene de vânătoare.
