lîncéd (lấncedă), adj.1. Galeş, debil. – 2. Bolnav. – 3. Melancolic, abătut. – Megl. lîngit, lîngid. lat. languĭdus (Puşcariu 976; Candrea-Dens., 994; REW 4890; DAR), păstrat numai în rom. (în celelalte idiomuri romanice sînt derivări neol., cf. Rosetti, I, 168). Rezultatul gc este modern (totuşi se aude var., rară, lînged). A fost explică prin analogie cu muced; dar pare mai curînd efectul unei disimulări g...d. Der. lîncezi, vb.
