JUMÁRĂ s.f. (În special la pl.) Bucăţele de slănină obţinute după topirea şi stoarcerea acesteia de grăsime; se consumă rece, ca atare sau sub formă de pastă unsă pe pâine de casă, ca gustare; prin ext. jumări de ouă sau ouă-jumări = ouă amestecate în timp ce sunt prăjite, având aspect asemănător, dar fără a conţine jumări.

Din sb. după Conev 88. Cu al doilea sens, se foloseşte numai în Munt. şi la pl.
