IRÓD, irozi, s.m. 1. (La pl. art.) Veche dramă populară de origine creştină, reprezentând naşterea lui Cristos, pe care tineri costumaţi o joacă în perioada Crăciunului; vicleim. 2. Fiecare dintre colindătorii costumaţi care umblă cu vicleimul. ♦ fig. (ir.) Comedian, paiaţă; om cabotin. – Din sl. irodŭ.
