ILIÁC, -Ă, iliaci, -ce, adj. Care este aşezat în partea de mijloc a corpului, în regiunea şoldurilor. ♢ Os iliac (şi substantivat, n.) = fiecare dintre cele două oase care formează partea anterioară şi laterală a bazinului. [pr.: -li-ac] – Din fr. iliaque, lat. iliacus.
