HÁŞMĂ, haşme, s.f. Plantă erbacee cu bulb, cu frunze cilindrice şi cu flori albe, roz sau albastre, care se prezintă în inflorescenţe sferice (Allium ascalonicum). – Din magh. hagyma "ceapă".

HAŞMĂ s.f. Plantă erbacee comestibilă, cu frunze cilindrice, asemănătoare cu ceapa, dar cu bulbul constituit din mai mulţi căţei asemănători cu nişte cepe mici deformate, cu gust şi miros de usturoi. Este specifică bucătăriei franceze, fiind numită şi ceapă-franţuzească sau eşalot; fr. echalote; germ. Schalotte, engl. shallot (Allium ascalonicum)
