FRIGORÍFIC, -Ă, frigorifici, -ce, adj. Care ţine frig, privitor la frig, care serveşte la producerea frigului. ♢ Agent frigorific = substanţă sau amestec de substanţe care produce sau transportă frig. Instalaţie frigorifică = sistem tehnic alcătuit dintr-un agregat frigorigen, o încăpere răcită, o instalaţie de comandă şi de control şi dispozitive anexe, utilizat pentru răcire. – Din fr. frigorifique, lat. frigorificus.
