CENOMANIÁN, -Ă, cenomaniani, -e, s.n., adj. 1. s.n. Al doilea etaj al cretacicului mediu, considerat şi primul etaj al cretacicului superior, caracterizat prin amoniţi, lamelibranhiate, echinide (echinidă) etc. 2. adj. Care aparţine cenomanianului (1), care se referă la el. [pr.: -ni-an] – Din fr. cénomanien.
