CARVÁKA CEAR-/ s. n. şcoală materialistă şi ateistă indiană care afirmă că la temelia lumii se află patru principii: aerul, focul, apa şi pământul şi respinge temeiurile religiei vedice şi brahmanice, propovăduind idealul etic al desfătării raţionale. (< sanscr. carvaka)
