ţúgu interj. – Chemare, serveşte mai ales pentru porci. – var. Trans. ţugule. Creaţie expresivă, cf. tiugu (var. tiucu), interj. (chemare pentru păsări), cică, cicio, interj. (chemare pentru porci). Se pronunţă cu vîrful buzelor, de unde der. ţuguia, vb. (a ascuţi, a face vîrf; a face buzele ca pentru a suge; refl., a se subţia, a avea vîrf), pe care Cihac, II, 537, îl lega de mag. csücsozni "a face vîrf"; ţugui, s.n. (moţ, vîrf; pisc, culme). Ţuhăi, vb. (a maltrata) în Mold. pare să fie acelaşi cuvînt. Ţugulea, s.m., este numele unui personaj fictiv din unele poveşti pentru copii.
