UNIATÍSM s.n. (bis.) Formulă folosită de biserica romano-catolică (romanocatolic), după marea schismă din 1054, pentru reunirea altor biserici cu ea pe baza anumitor concesii dogmatice şi a unei autonomii faţă de Vatican; uniaţie. [pron. -ni-a-. / cf. fr. uniatisme, it. uniatismo].
