SUBNORMÁL, -Ă I. adj. cu dezvoltare intelectuală sau fizică întârziată. II. s. f. (mat.) segment determinat de proiecţia ortogonală pe axa absciselor a unui punct de pe o curbă plană şi de intersecţia la curbă a normalei cu această axă în punctul considerat. (după fr. sous-normal)
