OPERAŢIONALÍSM s.n. (fil.) 1. Concepţie gnoseologică neopozitivistă potrivit căreia noţiunile nu pot avea decât conţinut operaţional, întrucât semnificaţiile sunt generate de operaţii intelectuale. 2. Metodologie care pune în evidenţă funcţia operatorie, instrumentală a conceptelor şi a teoriilor ştiinţifice. [pr.: -ţi-o-] – Din engl. operationalism.

OPERAŢIONALÍSM s. n. curent în metodologia şi filozofia ştiinţei contemporane care consideră că semnificaţia noţiunilor utilizate în ştiinţă se reduce la operaţiile efectuate de cercetător în cursul folosirii sau verificării acestor noţiuni. (< engl. operationalism)
