Concepţie antiştiinţifică, idealistă, care neagă existenţa legilor obiective ale dezvoltării, absolutizează întâmplarea, ignorând necesitatea, contestă principiul cauzalităţii şi afirmă că mersul lucrurilor şi activitatea oamenilor sunt expresia unei abstracte "libertăţi de voinţă".
