HALCÁ, halcale, s.f. (înv.) 1. Verigă, cerc (de metal). ♦ Scoabă sau legătură de fier la ziduri. 2. Cerc de fier prin care se arunca, din galop, suliţa la jocul oriental numit gerid; p. ext. jocul însuşi. – Din tc. halka.
