EXÓTIC, -Ă, exotici, -ce, adj. Care se află într-o regiune foarte îndepărtată şi care impresionează prin aspecte neobişnuite, ciudate; care provine dintr-o asemenea regiune, care aparţine, care este propriu acestor ţări. [pr.: eg-zo-] – Din fr. exotique, lat. exoticus.
