CRITICÍSM s.n. 1. Denumire dată de Kant filozofiei sale, considerând "critica cunoaşterii" drept condiţie prealabilă a oricărei cercetări filozofice. 2. Doctrină care minimalizează capacitatea omului de a cunoaşte lumea şi care consideră drept izvor al cunoaşterii numai experienţa înţeleasă subiectiv. ♦ Critică fără discernământ, exagerată sau chiar rău intenţionată.
