NICOTÍNIC, -Ă, nicotinici, -ce, adj. Care se referă la nicotină; care este produs din nicotină. ♢ Acid nicotinic = compus organic, cristalizat, incolor, obţinut pe cale sintetică şi folosit la prepararea vitaminei PP. ♦ (Substantivat; f. pl.) Grupă de substanţe care acţionează asupra neuronilor din ganglionii vegetativi şi asupra receptorilor din sistemul nervos central. – Din fr. nicotinique.
